About the firm

Built for Morbi's manufacturers

A chartered accountancy practice that speaks the language of the tile, laminate, and sanitaryware industry it serves.

SANJA & CO is a chartered accountancy firm based in Morbi, Gujarat — the heart of India's ceramic industry. We work almost entirely with manufacturers and exporters, so the financial pressure points of this business — inverted duty, export refund cycles, dealer credit — are the ones we deal with every day.

Most of our engagements begin with the same conversation. The unit is profitable on paper, the order book is healthy, and there is still no money in the bank on the day the gas bill falls due. The cash has not vanished — it is sitting in a refund the department has not processed, in a dealer ledger stretched past 180 days, or in drawing power the bank has quietly stopped extending because the debtor ageing slipped past 90 days.

That is the problem we built the practice around. On the compliance side we run GST refunds end to end — accumulated input tax credit under inverted duty, export refunds, LUT filings, and the departmental follow-up that decides whether a claim actually lands. On the advisory side we act as virtual CFO: a working capital system, costing that keeps pace with PNG and chemical prices, drawing power management, and a cash projection compared against actuals every week or month.

The specialisation is deliberate, because the detail is where advice is won or lost. Kiln economics, fortnightly gas billing, imported paper and chemical costing, and dealer credit patterns are not things a general practice sees often enough to advise on well. Our frameworks come from studying this cluster specifically — and every report we send carries our reading of what the numbers mean and what to do next, not just the numbers.

How we work

Our approach

01

Industry-first

We build advice around how a ceramic or laminate unit actually runs — kiln cycles, export timelines, inverted duty.

02

Cash flow, not just compliance

Filing on time is the floor. Our job is to keep your working capital moving, not parked with the department.

03

Plain answers

You get clear numbers and a clear next step — not a report you need a translator for.
